Artisanal Spreads & Caramels — Juliette & Chocolat

Craving a silky spread to elevate bread, yogurt, crêpes, fruit… or to enjoy straight off the spoon (we don't judge)? Discover our artisanal recipes, made in small batches at our Chocolate Atelier in Greenfield Park, on Montréal's South Shore — with quality ingredients and the full Juliette & Chocolat know-how.

Our star: the Fleur-de-Sel Caramel

Over 250,000 jars crafted in our Atelier. We love it on our crêpes and… on our brownies!

Why is it so good? A true Breton caramel, cooked at very high temperature (over 165 °C / 330 °F) to develop its aroma and color. No colorings, no thickeners — just a traditional recipe with simple ingredients, including fleur de sel, for the very best salted caramel.

A few verified customer reviews:

"By far the best fleur-de-sel caramel my partner and I have ever tasted!" Johanne P.

"It's the best fleur-de-sel caramel and we've tried many. I'm happy I can order it online. Delicious." Diane G.

"Absolutely delicious: not too sweet and just right on the fleur de sel!" Michèle S.

"Divine! Just sweet enough, a touch salty and a hint bitter, silky texture, easy to spread. Total favorite!" Annick T.

Our full collection

Fleur-de-Sel Caramel — The star. Creamy, flowing, generously rich in caramel, with a touch of fleur de sel. A must-have for sweet tooths.

Dark Chocolate 55% Spread — Bittersweet, with a pure, clean taste that reveals the full depth of cocoa. The team favorite.

Crunchy Praline Spread — Smooth praline studded with caramelized hazelnut bits. Where melt-in-your-mouth meets crunch.

Maple Caramel — Our Québec take on caramel, with a true local maple flavor. For maple syrup fans and for those who want to taste it differently.

Speculoos Caramel — Breton caramel meets Belgian biscuit, for a spicier, almost cookie-like spread.

The Hazelnut-Chocolate Tartinette (500 g) — Our artisanal take on Nutella, palm oil-free, with real caramelized hazelnuts and cocoa. Made locally, family-size jar for those who put it on everything.

Artisanal & local

Everything is made by hand at our Atelier, in small batches. We start from simple ingredients — butter, sugar, 35% cream, Belgian chocolate, roasted hazelnuts — and we take the time to do it right. No palm oil in the Tartinette, no industrial shortcuts. The texture in your mouth — smooth, melting, flowing — tells the whole story.

Frequently asked questions

Are your spreads gluten-free? With the exception of our Speculoos Caramel, our spreads are made with gluten-free ingredients. That said, they may have been in contact with traces of gluten at our Atelier — something to keep in mind for those with celiac disease.

Are they palm oil-free? Our Hazelnut-Chocolate Tartinette is palm oil-free — that's one of its strongest selling points. The other spreads are based on simple ingredients (butter, cream, Belgian chocolate, sugar, etc.) — palm oil-free as well.

How should I store them? Once opened, keep your spreads in the fridge. The texture may firm up when chilled — take the jar out 10–15 minutes before spreading to restore its silkiness, or warm it for a few seconds in the microwave (lid off!).
