My Valentine's Day recipe ideas!

Hello everyone!

Valentine's Day is just around the corner, and you know how much I love this holiday!!! So I've prepared some delicious ideas to spoil your loved one or your friends for a girls' night out.

Here are three chocolate desserts for a successful evening:

THE DARING ONE

Do you have some time and would like to surprise your loved one?

The almond-orange brownie – one of my favorite desserts – is perfect. This sweet and original version will surprise and delight the taste buds of chocolate lovers.

However, you should know that it requires a certain technique. Nothing too serious, but a little time and love will be necessary.

I'll give you my decadent recipe... Mmmm!

Preparation: 25 minutes

Cooking time: 30 minutes

Yield: 12 to 16 servings (you'll also have enough for a romantic breakfast in bed!)

 Ingredients

  • 120 g of flour
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 225g of semi-sweet chocolate
  • 170g butter
  • 150g of sugar
  • 150g brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 90g diced candied oranges
  • 90g of flaked almonds

    Brownie

1- Place the rack in the center of the oven. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Butter the sides and bottom of a 9-inch square pan and line it with ovenproof wax paper.

2- In a bowl, mix the flour and salt.

3- Over very low heat, melt the chocolate and butter until smooth, then stir in the brown sugar and sugar. Mix well. The mixture should be lukewarm.

4- Add the eggs, one by one. Incorporate well using a spatula.

5- Sift the flour and salt over the chocolate mixture and mix well. Be careful, it is important to use a spatula, not a whisk, for these last two steps. Do not overbeat the mixture to avoid the brownie being too airy.

6- Then gently fold in the candied oranges and flaked almonds, still using the spatula. Set aside a few almonds and candied oranges for decoration.

7-Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and bake for about 30 minutes. Be careful, baking time may vary depending on the oven! Let the brownie cool.

    8- Enjoy :)

THE ROMANTIC

The ultimate dessert for romantic dinners, chocolate fondue allows you to be creative and eat your portion of fruit!

It's so simple and delicious.

Place an assortment of fresh fruit—strawberries, bananas, apples, pears, oranges, pineapple, grapes, blueberries—and treats on a platter or directly on your table covered with parchment paper.

Serve with the melted chocolate of your choice.

There are several chocolate options available to you: milk, peanut, dark, white... Dare to mix them for a delicious fondue!

For a gourmet experience, add marshmallows and brownie pieces.

THE CARING ONE

Since Valentine's Day is on a Tuesday this year, you might want to opt for a turnkey dessert, in which case, come see us or visit our website :)
