The strawberry-peanut surprise egg features two milk chocolate shells filled with a peanut butter cream and strawberry compote, and hidden inside are roasted salted peanuts! It’s the classic peanut butter and jelly sandwich… in an Easter egg!
Our surprise Easter eggs are first molded with a layer of 33% cocoa Belgian milk chocolate decorated with colored white chocolate lines, then filled with their soft, gooey interior, and finally molded a second time to lock in those hidden flavors. Just before the second chocolate shell sets, the inside is sprinkled with crunchy toppings.
The strawberry-peanut surprise egg is fruity and sweet, salty and crunchy, with its thin double shell of creamy milk chocolate holding a runny filling packed with contrasting flavors.
