In the heart of the Quartier Latin on St-Denis street is where Juliette opened up her first ever Juliette & Chocolat in 2003.

The Quartier Latin is a must-see destination while visiting Montréal. This cultural center welcomes tourists all year round and many Summer festivals. You’ll also find the famous St-Denis theater, Quebec’s film library and the BAnQ library.

When Juliette was only a student, she dreamed of the day she would open her first restaurant dedicated to chocolate. She immediately thought of St-Denis street since so many students live there and/or walk around (UQAM & Vieux Montreal Cegep), the night and day life, the bars, the restaurants and the festivals. She was convinced this street was the best area to open, and she did so on July 1st 2003.

Juliette’s guests are usually surprised by the way she puts the emphasis on dark chocolate. Her hot chocolate is dark, thick and rich and it looks and tastes like nothing else you’ll find around Montreal!

Come and discover the first ever Juliette & Chocolat while sipping on some chocolate milkshake and watching people strolling around. During the colder months, trade that milkshake for a chocolate fondue.
