Juliette says: “I used to make it at home for family and friends. It was such a hit that I started making it for Juliette & Chocolat and selling it in my restaurants. That’s how the Intense Brownie was born.”
The Intense Brownie is a fudgy square—dense, rich, and full of very fine Belgian chocolate. It remains our most popular classic: timeless and indulgent. It embodies everything that makes the perfect brownie: lots of chocolate (we use 55% semi-sweet dark chocolate), a melt-in-the-mouth texture, and a bake that’s just right—so it has a thin, crackly crust on top while the center stays soft.

You can enjoy it cold, or—if you prefer it even gooier—warm it for a few seconds in the microwave or a few minutes in the oven. Our tip: serve it warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
The Intense Brownie keeps for 2 months in the refrigerator, and 2 days at room temperature.
