Juliette & Chocolat's Monster Cookies

One thing will hit you the moment you take a bite of our cookies: their size! All our cookies are very, VERY big. That's exactly why we called them Monster Cookies!

Second thing: every one of our cookies hides a molten heart: dark chocolate ganache, hazelnut-chocolate spread, homemade marshmallow, praline, pistachio cream… A surprise at the center for a contrasting, extra-indulgent bite.

But why such big cookies?

Juliette explains: "In our childhood hands, cookies looked so much bigger. Through grown-up eyes, they've shrunk quite a bit! So at Juliette & Chocolat, we created giant cookies to bring back that childhood experience."

We set out to develop these giant cookies with a simple goal: create the perfect cookie. Indulgent but not too rich, soft and melting, with a surprise at the center for that contrasting taste.

The result: an indulgent pleasure that keeps winning people over. The proof: we handcraft thousands of cookies every week in our Chocolate Atelier in Greenfield Park, on Montréal's South Shore — to keep up with demand from our online shop, our restaurants, the Atelier boutique, and our Juliette & Chocolat kiosk at Quartier DIX30.

How we make them

Our Monster Cookies are handcrafted in our Chocolate Atelier, from our secret recipes: lots of fine Belgian chocolate, local butter, homemade pralines and ganaches. We start by making the dough, shape it, then close it around its molten heart, before baking in small batches.

Juliette is never far from the oven when they bake: "One of my joys is watching the cookies slowly puff up through the oven window!"

Our flavors

Our cookie flavors change with inspiration and the seasons  (keep an eye out for new arrivals!). Among our classics:

  • Cookiewolf — Vanilla cookie with 55% dark chocolate chips, crunchy almonds, and a molten center of bittersweet dark chocolate ganache.
  • Frankencookie — Triple chocolate cookie (dark, milk, white), with a smooth heart of Tartinette hazelnut-chocolate spread — our homemade take on Nutella.
  • Abominable Snow Cookie — Cookie covered with brownie pieces, marshmallow center. The most decadent of the bunch.
  • Hulkookie — Dark chocolate cookie with a pistachio cream center and crunchy knafeh inclusions (fine strands of golden pastry). For pistachio lovers.

How long until I receive my order? We typically ship orders within 3 to 5 business days.

How are packages shipped? Our treats are carefully packaged and handled by shipping partners experienced with food and fragile items. Our cookies travel very well and arrive fresh.

How long do the cookies keep? The cookies keep for one week in the fridge upon receipt.

Are your cookies fresh? Yes — we make all our products every week in our Atelier.

Are your cookies gluten-free? Unfortunately no, our cookies contain gluten. For a gluten-free option, check out our brownies , they're made with gluten-free ingredients.

Can I freeze my cookies? Yes, you can freeze them upon receipt and keep them for up to a month, well wrapped.

Do the cookies contain nuts? Yes, our cookies contain nuts and/or may have been in contact with nuts.

How should I enjoy the cookies? Our cookies are at their best warm, softer and meltier. To reheat: 20 to 30 seconds in the microwave, or 5 to 10 minutes in a hot oven.
